Shipping Policy

Please note that all our jewelry is custom made just for you in beautiful Canada. It is never mass produced. Therefore your order will take approximately 2-3 weeks to create before we ship. Please be patient as it is worth the wait!

Need it in a Rush? If your order is time sensitive and you need it expedited, please contact us immediately by phone or email before or right after placing your order and we will do everything we can to help you! We ship worldwide. Yes, everywhere. (Except the moon and Mars — but we are working on it!)

Shipping Carriers We ship from Montreal and Toronto, Canada using Canada Post, USPS, UPS, and FedEx depending on your location and the shipping option you select at checkout. Shipping rates and delivery options are displayed at checkout for your destination.

PO Boxes We can ship to PO Boxes via Canada Post and USPS only. UPS and FedEx do not deliver to PO Boxes, so please provide a street address if you select those carriers.

Customs & Import Duties Good news for our US customers — to date, our shipments to the United States have arrived without any additional duty charges. We ship with love from Montreal and Toronto and our US customers have been receiving their jewels without any surprise fees at the door! For all other international destinations, customs fees, import duties, and taxes may apply upon arrival and are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend checking with your local customs office if you have any concerns.

Delivery Delays & Lost Parcels Please understand that delivery dates are not guaranteed as there can be service interruptions or failures caused by events beyond our control. We always try our best and move in a timely manner. We are not responsible for lost parcels in the event that an incorrect shipping address was entered by the customer, or if delivery was attempted and could not be completed due to an issue with the receiver's address or location, or if the tracking confirms the item has been successfully delivered. We cannot refund a shipment because it is late. If a shipment is late due to the courier, we must go through the protocol of tracing the package and opening a case to confirm it is late and not lost. Once the case is resolved with a conclusion of loss at the fault of the courier, then at our discretion we can proceed to remaking the lost jewelry. Our goal is to always help our customers in every situation and we are always here to communicate.

Order Tracking Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number so you can follow your jewels on their journey to you!

Cancelling Your Order We take great pride in the fact that each piece is handcrafted in Canada just for you, and because of this we can only allow up to 24 hours after placing your order online to cancel. We respect whatever reason you may have and you will be refunded in full within that window. However, after 24 hours we cannot cancel or refund your order as production is already in process and credit card fees have been applied. We hope you can understand as we are simply not mass produced and your piece is made just for you!

Returns — Store Credit Only

We can say with confidence that we believe you will absolutely LOVE your jewels. However, in the off chance that you are not happy, we will be very sad of course, but we offer a 7-day return for store credit only from the day you receive your jewels. This applies only to items not listed under Exceptions below.

Before you ship anything back to us, it is important that you contact us first by email at info@therighthandgal.com. We will only accept returns once we have communicated with you and provided you with a return authorization number and shipping instructions. We cannot accept any returns without pre-approved written authorization from us.

We cannot offer a refund or credit note after 24 hours of a personalized order being placed, even if an order is delayed in production or shipping, as each piece is custom made just for you.

Manufacturer's Defects

If there is an obvious manufacturer's defect within 3 months of receiving your order, please contact us immediately — do not ship anything back without speaking to us first. Once our team deems the damage to be caused by a manufacturing issue, we will happily repair your jewelry at no cost to you. You will only be responsible for the cost of shipping your piece to us and we will cover shipping back to you.

Please note that for international customers, if your issue can be easily fixed by a local jeweler (such as replacing a clasp or cleaning), we may suggest you repair it locally to save time, and we will happily refund you for the repair cost based on our conversation with you.

For defects on Final Sale items listed above, we will repair or replace within 15 days of receiving (at our discretion).

After 3 months, repairs will be assessed on a piece by piece basis and there may be shipping and repair costs involved. We will always do our very best for you!

Warranty Exclusions A break in the chain itself is not considered a manufacturer's defect and is therefore not covered by warranty. If damage is deemed to be caused by wear and tear, shipping charges will apply as well as potential repair costs. It will be assessed on a piece by piece basis and we will always do our very best for you!

EU Customers — Right of Withdrawal Under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or that are clearly personalised. Because every piece at The Right Hand Gal is individually handcrafted upon receipt of your order and production begins immediately, this exemption applies to all purchases. No inventory is held — your piece is made exclusively for you.
